Daisyhead is the creation and alter ego of former jewelry store owner and bookkeeper, Johanna Resnikoff. Johanna has been sewing all her life; clothes from sheets, totes from old clothes and pillows galore. She loves to repurpose things to make them useful in a different way. Having a strong creative urge, she learned to sew, knit, crochet, needlepoint and just be generally crafty. Managing money during the day while designing in the evenings, she decided to unite the left and right sides of her brain and combine her business background with her burning desire to be creative. Add lollipops and foam daisyheads to a Dr. Suess inspired nickname and thus, Daisyhead Designs was born.

"It's a visual gag." Johanna says, "People read the words and know they've heard them before but they're momentarily confused by the image. Then they suddenly realize, "Oh yeah, it's Journey!" and laugh out loud.  People often start singing to remember the words, it's great.  Every generation loves the music they grew up with, it's our life soundtrack."
